A candidate that I’m working with is actively looking for something new and is confident when it comes to deigning electrical drawings from scratch, programming PLCs through to the commissioning stages.
He can design using AutoCAD Electrical and is confident programming using Siemens but would always be open to learning new packages too.
The main reason he’s looking is due to him spending around 70% of his time across the UK commissioning and he’s looking for a company that can offer a bit of a better work-life balance where he’d spend less time on the road and somewhere that can offer training and progression.
Majority of his experience has been within materials handling, robotics, food and beverage but again he’s really open minded when it comes to his next career move.
He’s based in Ellesmere and would be fairly flexible for a hybrid role or happy to travel up to 45 minutes for an office-based role. Salary wise, he’d be open to anything upwards of the £50k mark.
