He is on the lookout for his next role as a Quality Engineer due to the current travel time. His dream would be to have a job that is a little bit closer to home and be able to have some work life balance in his life.
He currently manages a team of 12 CMM inspectors and when I spoke to him he told me that his 3 greatest achievements were:
- Produced technical information for a manual for the use of blue MDPE pipe to the water industry
- Eliminated major customer complaints
- Transitioned company from QS to IATF Standard
Experience with materials analysis, metal machining, measuring techniques, plastics processing, assembly & finishing methods. He is proficient in various investigation techniques (8D, 5Y, fish bone diagrams) and in addition to this he is trained as an internal auditor for ISO 9000 & IATF 16949.
Some of his other experience he is familiar with is CMM & non-contact measurement methods & CAD (CATIA)
In summary, he is looking for a stable company with the ability to have a responsible position and good development prospects (and less travel so he isn't sleeping his weekends away)
