Currently working with a Metrology Engineer who has developed a strong understanding of CAD/additive manufacturing, CNC, EDM and laser machining as well as advanced metrology tools and techniques.

He is currently working an FTC as a Metrologist. Unfortunately, they do not have any permanent positions available, and he would like more job security rather than relying on his contract to continue to be extended each time.

He is responsible for Dimensional Quality Checks/FAIR of Aircraft Nacelle and Reverse Thrust components and assemblies by Laser tracking, CMM and 3D Scanning. In addition to this he creates measurement sequences using Polyworks Inspector for laser tracking, 3D scanning, CMM and PCMM arm.

He applies Measurement Systems analysis to understand the repeatability and reproducibility of the measurement systems and has a good understanding of APQP.
