3 greatest achievements:

  • Being the sole Accountable Quality Team Professional that supported the team’s successful attainment and continual maintenance of Airfield & Flight Safety Approval to facilitate flight clearance for fast-jet departure. At the start of the programme I had almost no understanding of the requirements but through a process of stakeholder support and structured learning I became viewed as the SME, being appointed to the recognised role of Flight Safety Officer as well
  • Facilitated the full business assessment of all process activities to support the customer requirement for new business. The process involved internal activity and gap closure through to leading the Site Management Team through a structured review with a team of customer representatives. The structure through my contribution received formal recognition, both internally and from customer.
  • Mentored a nervous and failing QC Inspector into the team and through structured training and coaching, helped him develop into a competent and confident Quality Engineer whose auditing ability gained recognition within the wider company Quality organisation.
